Google Maps is your friend. Train to Desenzano sul Garda, then bus to Limone with a connection in Salò. This is probably the best way. Limone is easily accessed by ferry. You can get a ferry from either Torbole or Riva del Garda. To get to the northern shore of Lake Garda from Venice, you catch the train to Peschiera, then a bus to Malcesine
