DDR4 RAM is not nearly as finicky as DDR3 was. Linus Tech Tips did a video demonstrating you can mix and match without issue. You should obviously try to get RAM with the same specs as your current kit though because the system will typically only be able to run at the speed/latency of the slowest stick.
try it on battlefield 2042, you can always get more ram later. I think it might use more ram tho. there is already plenty of games that (combined with other stuff you have open) will use more than 16gb. Yeah, but try and get it with some empty slots so that you can upgrade later, if needed.

Any should do, but you'll most likely end up with naked modules that don't look as pretty. 1600Mhz should be good enough. I had to reduce mine from 1600mhz to 1444MHz so I only OC'd the CPU. Result: moar fps, esp. in CPU heavy / bottlenecked games. true.

I noticed that Warzone eats up up to 7 gb of ram, but this is probably game specific and most games only use a few gb.
When you see a memory being rated DDR4-2666 it doesn’t mean 2666MHz, it means 1333MHz x2 = 2666MT/s. DDRAM meaning “double data random access memory”. So if you look at your memory specs in programs like CPU-Z, you’ll see that the speed of a “DDR4-2666MHz” is actually only 1333MHz. MT/s means Mega Transfer per Second. 😃
