Hello, Warning light came on indicating to "add Ad Blue Engine will will not start in 1000 kms". I filled it up full yesterday and indicator went off. This afternoon on the way home from work the indicator came back on. I confirmed the ad blue is full. Do I need to reset this using my HEX
I've just a week ago repaired couple years older vw with faulty AdBlue injector. After replacing faulty injector and clearing codes red SCR warning light still on and starter not actuates. Reset SCR lock gives additional 25 starting times and/or 50km mileage. In Volkswagen models, a yellow warning light will flash and a tone chime when the car’s AdBlue is running low, it will continue to do this every 31 miles (50km) until you fill the tank. Ignore it and the symbol will eventually turn red, meaning your AdBlue has run out and the car won’t start until it’s been filled. The procedure to reset the AdBlue warning light on the Volkswagen Transporter is done by refilling the additive liquid into the appropriate tank. The vent for this tank is located immediately below the fuel tank vent. To access it, simply open the fuel door and locate the blue cap inside. Once the cap is opened, refill the necessary amount of WcPL5.
